The Office of Research Integrity provides oversight, support and educational training in the conduct of human, animal and basic scientific research. The office includes the Institutional Review Board, which ensures that human subject research is conducted ethically and in compliance with federal regulations; the Conflicts Management Office, which handles the Conflicts Survey, the Study Specific Report and other conflict-related documentation; and the Weill Cornell Medicine Data and Safety Monitoring Board, which provides independent monitoring of clinical trials that involve a significant risk to research subjects.
