The Center for Perioperative Outcomes, which is part of the Department of Anesthesiology, evaluates operational efficiencies, quality and compliance, and it conducts health outcomes studies. The center’s goal is to optimize clinical care for patients before, during and after operations. The center offers access to large patient databases as well as statistical, methodological and information technology resources to faculty, fellows and medical students. The center has collaborations within the Department of Anesthesiology and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, as well as with investigators at the Department of Population Health Sciences, the Department of Surgery and Cornell Tech.
