The Office of Faculty Engagement & Inclusion works to create a collaborative working and learning environment, in which individual characteristics are respected and differences are valued as much as similarities. The office believes that diversity—differences in race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class and religious practices, among others—helps scientists and physicians develop creative solutions to the most challenging healthcare problems.
