The Obstetrics & Gynecology Department has a long tradition of offering comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care for patients and families. Physicians are committed to improving and maintaining women’s health through annual checkups, screenings and general care. Researchers aim to improve women’s health, with discoveries in areas such as family planning, infertility and clinical ethics. The department boasts the highest standards of academic medical training available anywhere in the world - with a broad-based residency program and fellowships leading to subspecialty certifications in the growing fields of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Women’s Midlife Center

The purpose of the Women’s Midlife Center at Weill Cornell Medicine is dedication to the care and treatment of women during the menopause transition and throughout menopause. The center will be one of the first academic programs in New York to offer multidisciplinary comprehensive services for women during midlife, including coordinated care to various specialties, based on the individual patient’s needs. The center is also focused on patient and provider education, creation of a community for women’s midlife health, and innovative, multidisciplinary research and care.
