The Margaret and Ian Smith Clinical Skills Center offers a safe and controlled environment where medical students can practice clinical skills. The center includes a patient simulator suite, where students can practice clinical skills on high-tech mannequins, as well as 10 outpatient and two in-patient rooms, where students can treat “actor patients” who recreate clinical scenarios. All instructional and simulation spaces are outfitted with state-of-the-art technology. The center also has a case study room and a variety of conference spaces that students can use for meetings, study sessions and collaboration.
