Weill Cornell Housing Department

The Housing Office at Weill Medical College serves the housing needs of our community of students, postdoctoral trainees, faculty members, and their families. WMC Housing offers a wide range of building types, including dormitory style residential towers, affordable apartments in walk-up buildings, and nicely appointed properties overlooking the New York City waterfront. In November 2003, WMC opened a new building at 465 Main Street in Southtown on Roosevelt Island, which had been built entirely to our specifications. Our latest Southtown building opened in January 2006 and is located at 455 Main Street.

This website previews the building at 465 Main Street, with detailed floor plans and construction progress photos. Information on other properties, programs, and policies is also included. This site provides useful tools for both current housing residents and those who may be considering applying for housing. Those who would like to know more about our Housing program are invited to browse through our building information section. Copies of eligibility policies and all required applications can be downloaded in pdf format.

For those currently living in university housing, there is an introduction of members of the Housing staff and the services for which each is responsible. Please contact our office to let us know how we may be of further assistance.
