The Hematopathology Division offers pathology diagnostic services related to hematological disorders. Pathologists are board-certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, hematology, and/or molecular genetic pathology. After their analysis, pathologists provide a single, comprehensive hematopathology report to the requesting physician, detailing any relevant diagnostic and prognostic information. When there are multiple patient samples, the pathology team addresses issues such as disease progression and response to treatment. The division offers a one-year Hematopathology Fellowship, as well as an annual training designed to update physicians on the latest advances in the field.
