Bonnie Gitlin, LCSW

Bonnie E. Gitlin, LCSW, has been in private practice since 1981 and on the faculty of The Women’s Therapy Centre Institute since1998. She ran groups on Eating and Body Image Problems for The WTCI from 1989-2002. She worked at Payne Whitney Clinic Adult Outpatient Department from 1981-89, where her responsibilities included individual and couple therapy, and cognitive behavioral treatment and clinical research in the Anxiety Clinic. She was a Staff Associate in Psychiatry at Cornell University Medical College from 1989-92, working on the NIMH multicenter study of nonmedication treatment of panic disorder.
