Dr. Pizer is in private practice in Manhattan working with preadolescents, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group therapy. She is a general practitioner treating a wide range of diagnoses with a specialty in Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues. Additionally, Dr. Pizer has extensive experience working with women of all ages undergoing life transitions.

Dr. Pizer was a co-investigator on an NIH Study at The Obesity Research Center affiliated with St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in New York. She examined eating issues in mothers and the impact on their parenting styles
