Personal Computer and Property Insurance Many students suffer damages from accidents ranging from major floods to ordinary spills that wreak havoc with their computers, phones, clothing and other essential personal property. None of these losses are insured by the College. That's why we facilitated a very affordable, comprehensive student property insurance backed by the highest ratings for service and quality. This coverage is available to all students at WCMC on a voluntary basis. Students can go directly online and enroll in this coverage. Free of cost IP address Tracking Security Software can be downloaded from the vendor. Coverage can be obtained for up to $10,000 per claim with an annual premium from $60-$214. This Coverage is now also available to Weill Cornell Employees.

Student Health Services provides education and assistance to students who wish to stop smoking. Students may contact Student Health Services at (212) 746-1450 for further information. Additional resources include The New York State Smoker's Quit Site and The New York City Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene's Bureau of Tobacco Control.


International SOS program protects you while you travel. Traveling abroad? Weill Cornell subscribes to a 24/7 medical, security and travel assistance program that is available to all employees and students who are traveling on college business. Discounts are also available for personal travel. Get your membership card today by logging on to the Weill Cornell portal of the SOS website.
