Biography
Dr. Herzog is the Director of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College, which is affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Komansky Center for Children’s Health. She is board certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric and Adult Allergy and Immunology.
Respiratory expertise: Dr. Herzog’s expertise includes comprehensive evaluation and management of asthma, recurrent wheezing, cough, sinusitis, ear infections and pneumonia. She also conducts evaluations for underlying allergies or immunodeficiency, and pulmonary function testing.
Allergies: Dr. Herzog provides also an evaluation for environmental allergies, Hymenoptera sting allergy, including immunotherapy, angioedema, atopic and contact dermatitis, latex allergy, and diagnosis and care for immune deficient patients.
Food allergies and anaphylaxis: In addition, Dr. Herzog provides state-of-the-art evaluation and management for infants, children, and adults with food allergies and anaphylaxis. This includes skin prick testing, PATCH testing, oral food challenge, and nutrition consultation for diet elimination.
Educational Background: Dr. Herzog completed her pediatric residency at Schneider Children’s hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and Allergy and Immunology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following her fellowship, she was a full-time faculty at Columbia University, College of Physician and Surgeons, where she cared for patients with asthma, allergy and immunology disorders.
