Biography
Dr. Paul C. Lee is an Associate Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery and an Attending Surgeon in the Division of Thoracic Surgery at the New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Lee is also the Director of Thoracic Surgery at New York Hospital Queens.
Dr. Lee completed his medical school training at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He carried out his general surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center and the Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During this time, Dr. Lee received additional training in minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Paul C. Lee has published more than thirty peer-reviewed articles and has presented in many national meetings in the fields of cardiopulmonary physiology, molecular cell biology and thoracic oncology
Dr. Lee has a special interest in the treatment of lung and esophageal cancers, as well as in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease and achalasia.
