Research Overview
Dr. Etingin received an NIH Clinical Investigator Award from 1987 until 1992, during which time she conducted laboratory research on thrombosis in vascular cells. Along with Drs. Phyllis August and Terri Edersheim, Dr. Etingin is currently conducting a retrospective review of patients who have suffered pregnancy complications due to thrombophilia. The impact of anticoagulation treatment on subsequent pregnancy is being explored.
