Dr. Belmont has been performing clinical research for over 15 years. Most studies involve neuromuscular blocking agents, both established and new investigational compounds. He has presented his research findings both nationally and internationally at anesthesiology meetings. The neuromuscular blocker research team at Cornell is considered one of the most prestigious in the world for the evaluation of these drugs.
Dr Belmont continues to evaluate unique new neuromuscular blockers in rhesus monkeys.
