Dr. Bleiberg has investigated medication and psychotherapeutic treatments for various patterns of depression. She has expertise in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), a time-limited, diagnosis-targeted, empirically validated treatment that focuses on current interpersonal difficulties. Dr. Bleiberg has adapted IPT for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder, depression following pregnancy loss and borderline personality disorder.
