Dr. Barnhill has been involved in deepening the psychiatric curriculum at the Weill Bugando Medical College in Mwanza, Tanzania. To that end, he has traveled to Tanzania twice since 2007 to learn from their mental health workers and physicians and to give lectures throughout the Medical Center. Medical students and psychiatry residents have been involved with his work, and there are many opportunities for further collaboration.
