Pediatric Intensive Care
- Injury Prevention: During medical school, participated in a study conducted at Harlem Hospital, that evaluated the demographic, social, and other characteristics of children injured by gunshot wounds. This study also sought to measure the impact of the Pediatric Injury Prevention
Program at Harlem Hospital, on the incidence of pediatric gunshot wounds in children of Harlem.
- Pulmonary Edema: During fellowship, Dr. Howell worked in the Pulmonary Research Laboratories in a project evaluating inflammation in pulmonary edema.
