Research Overview
Dr. Dakin has conducted clinical and basic research throughout his career, having authored numerous papers and textbook chapters, and has presented at several national meetings. His current research interests focus on minimally invasive surgery, surgery for morbid obesity, and the biologic mechanisms behind obesity and how they are affected by surgical treatment.
