Biography
Dr. Gregory Dakin received his undergraduate degree with honors from Colgate University and obtained his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in 1997. He completed his general surgery residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 2003, including a dedicated research fellowship in laparoscopy. Upon finishing his residency, he entered into a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive surgery under at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Dakin devotes considerable time to the development of physicians in training, as well as clinical and basic science research projects. He is an active member of several surgical societies and joins the faculty as Assistant Professor of Surgery.
