Global Health
I direct a study on the role that diabetes and other risk factors play in the development of acute myocardial infarction and stroke in Qatar. I direct a companion study of the management of diabetes mellitus in Qatar as compared to international standards. I also coordinate the Department of Public Health's overall global health agenda, including education and research.
