Research Overview
Dr Raik's research focuses on the ethics of preventive care for patients with dementia. She has studied the impact of the prospect of cognitive impairment on older women's preferences for screening mammography. Future studies will examine whether physicians perceive the risks of screening procedures in older adults with comorbidities such as dementia.
