Cornell MRI Laboratory

Welcome
Our laboratory is dedicated to research and education in magnetic resonance imaging. Our group includes scientists from Computer Science, Engineering and Physics, clinical investigators from Cardiology, Neurology, Radiology, and Surgery, and students from graduate programs at both Ithaca and Weill campuses.  Research activities are interdisciplinary and interactive between science and medicine. PhD thesis projects typically focus on technical developments for clinical and pre-clinical applications in cardiovascular, cancer and neurological diseases.

Lab Facilities

Located at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, our laboratory has regular on-site access to two 1.5 Tesla GE Signa MRI Scanners at the Cornell MRI Center on 55^th St and York Ave. All researchers in our laboratory have an office space in the 10,000 sq-ft facility, which also houses a cutting-edge 32-node computer cluster, a conference room and a lab library. In addition, the WCMC campus at 69th St and York Ave houses two additional scanners; including a 1.5 Tesla and a 3 Tesla GE scanners, as well as our group's cell biology lab
