Physician and Practice Web Sites
Physicians Organization Profile System (POPS) is a web-based database that allows physicians to maintain a profile page to showcase their research and practice to the public. In this system, physicians can update their contact information, clinical expertise, biography, honors & awards, publications, and also create a profile for their research work.
What Is Included
The ability for physicians to dynamically update their profile to be searchable on Weill Cornell Physicians page.
There are three levels of access to the system:
- Faculty - Can edit his/her own profile page. Modifications to some fields, such as Clinical Expertise, Research Profile, Board Certifications, and Appointments must undergo an approval process by their Department Administrator.
- Practice Administrator - Can edit profiles of the providers affiliated with their practice via an approval process.
- Department Administrator - Can edit profiles of the providers and practices affiliated with their department without undergoing an approval process.
