COMPLETED: Upgrade to Phone Service, 4/3

Update: ITS has completed the scheduled upgrade of the WCMC VoIP Phone system as of Sunday 04/05/2009 at 10PM. ITS will be contacting departments utilizing the WCMC phone system to ensure all phones are working and to resolve any problems that may arise.


The Information Technologies & Services (ITS) Department will be upgrading the Phone System during the following window:

Start: Friday, April 3rd, 2009 8:00 PM
Finish: Sunday, April 5th, 2009 8:00 PM

ITS will be upgrading the WCMC IP phone system. During this upgrade, inbound clinical calls will be forwarded directly to the respective answering services for each department, as we have done in the past during maintenance. Outbound calling and inbound calling to specific extensions will be available for the majority of the window, but may have intermittent outages.

ITS will be contacting departments utilizing the WCMC phone system to verify emergency contacts, night service numbers, and to address any questions or concerns.

Please note that during this window, if you have an emergency regarding the phone system, please call 646-962-9999 to be put in contact with the Network and Communications Services Group.
