Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Important: "Full" VPN service is now limited in availability to the WCMC community. Users wishing to access campus resources are strongly recommended to use WebVPN instead.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC) faculty and staff remote access to WCMC network resources (such as online library journals, file shares, and the Weill Business Gateway) through an application installed on a personal workstation.
VPN clients are available for both Windows and Macintosh computers.
The VPN service does not provide a connection to the Internet.
Please note that due to security and licensing restrictions, WCMC cannot provide NewYork-Presbyterian employees and residents remote access via VPN. For remote access, NewYork-Presbyterian employees and residents should contact the NewYork-Presbyterian Helpdesk by dialing 4-HELP(44357).
What Is Included
Remote access to resources that are only accessible from within the WCMC network.
VPN access is available by special request only. Users must already have access to the WebVPN service.
