ITS Remote Access (ITS-RA) permits ITS-supported Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC) staff, faculty, and students to connect off-site computers to the WCMC network. Due to security and licensing restrictions, many WCMC network resources must be accessed from a computer that is within our network space. Our Virtual Private Network (VPN), Web Virtual Private Network (WebVPN), and myDesktop services provide a WCMC network address to off-site computers for this purpose.

Please note that due to security and licensing restrictions, WCMC cannot provide NewYork-Presbyterian employees and residents remote access via VPN and WebVPN. For myDesktop, only active EpicCare and WCMC Webvpn users are eligible to access the portal. For remote access, NewYork-Presbyterian employees and residents should contact the NewYork-Presbyterian Helpdesk by dialing 4-HELP(44357).
