Wireless allows connectivity to the WCMC network and the Internet without being tethered to your office or lab. There are three versions of the wireless service:

WMC Secure provides secure access to all institutional resources.

WMC Guest Services provides non-secure access to web pages for guests of WCMC faculty, students and staff. WMC Guest Services does not provide access to any WCMC system or application. Protocols other than HTTP or HTTPS may not be used over this network.

Users visiting from Ithaca who are already configured to access RedRover-Secure can also use it at WCMC, resulting in access equivalent to using the WCMC Secure network. For more information, please refer to the "Using your Ithaca NetID on the WCMC Campus" guide.

To access the aforementioned wireless services, WCMC faculty, staff and students must be located at the WCMC campus or a supported WCMC offsite location. WCMC students residing at housing provided by another institution other than WCMC will not be able to access these services from that residence.
