Wired Connectivity

Wired connectivity provides network access to the WCMC network through an Ethernet cable that is connected to a network jack located on the WCMC campus or offsite location where the WCMC network is supported.

To access this service, WCMC faculty, staff and students must be located at the WCMC campus or a supported WCMC offsite location.

What Is Included

  • One wired connection to the WCMC network at speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbs depending on cable infrastructure
  • One IP address

Cost

  • A one-time $150 connection fee is charged and an annual $350 is required to maintain ongoing support and network connection. Students are not charged the connection fee
  • A $75 relocate fee is charged for connecting a computer to another area
