myProfile Guide

Q: Who can use myProfile?
Anyone with a valid e-mail address @med.cornell.edu or @nyp.org. Although students can get in, since they have no administrative or clinical office, they will not be part of the phonebook therefore, they should not try to use the myProfile system.

Q: What about NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital employees?
A: NewYork-Presbyterian employees are welcome to use the system, if they wish to. Updating their information in myProfile updates the WCMC online directory as well as the directories used by the email system. However, they should also go to Infonet to update their info for the NewYork-Presbyterian Phone Directory.

Q: I have an email account, but I still can't log in.
A: You might be accessing myProfile from outside the WCMC network or using the wrong user ID.
myProfile only recognizes users on our network. That generally means you must be in your office on campus, or use a WCMC VPN (Virtual Private Network) service. If you use are accessing this page from home without VPN, you will not be able to access myProfile.

Use your CWID and email password to login. Your CWID (Center-wide ID) is the first part of your email address. For example, if your email address is act2001@med.cornell.edu, then your CWID is act2001.

Q: I do not have an active account. How do I change my data?
A: Please talk to your department administrator. DAs can modify the record for people in their department.

Q: I am a Department Administrator and would like to maintain the information for my department. What should I do?

A: Email support@med.cornell.edu to request DA access to myProfile.
