Below is a list of known issues with both versions of the webmail system, sorted by browser.

While ITS is working to resolve the known issues with the March 2009 version, no fixes are expected for the legacy version of webmail.

March 2009 Version

Internet Explorer (All versions)

Issue: When choosing to open an attachment, the associated application is unable to locate the file to be opened.
Workaround: Instead of choosing to automatically open the attachment, save the attachment to a folder and open it manually.

Internet Explorer 6

Issue: The left-hand action items do not display.
Workaround: Select the Either the Mail or Address Book Task Bar and reselect the previous task bar.

Legacy Version

Internet Explorer 6 (Windows)

Issue: Message view area overlaps Tool Bar.
Workaround: None.

Firefox (All versions, All platforms)

Issue: Window does not appear when "New Message" button is clicked.
Solution: Pop-up windows must be allowed for the ITS e-mail web site. For instructions, visit Using Legacy Webmail.

Safari (All versions, All platforms)

Issue: Window does not appear when "New Message" button is clicked.
Solution: Disable the "Block Pop-up Windows" feature in the "Safari" application menu.
