Broadcast Email

Broadcast Email provides the ability to send a single email to segments of the Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC) community. This service is used as a form of mass communication and is commonly used to inform the WCMC community of upcoming seminars, lectures, grand rounds, and other special events as well as notification from administrative departments including facilities, HR, finance, and ITS.

Broadcast lists come in two forms:

  • mandatory lists, to which all WCMC staff, faculty, and students with ITS-provided email addresses must be subscribed;
  • optional lists, to which WCMC staff, faculty, and students may subscribe to

What Is Included

  • The ability to manage your subscription to lists that related to various topics, such as Clinical Events or Grant Opportunities.
  • The ability send a message to any optional list via a web-based editor.

Cost

Provided at no additional charge.
