Site Licenses

Site Licenses Provided To WCMC Community

Weill Cornell Medical College faculty, staff, and students are eligible for the site licenses for the following applications:

  • Adobe Acrobat Standard
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • DataComet (for Macs only)
  • Eudora
  • Fetch (for Macs only)
  • Microsoft Office
  • Oracle Calendar
  • Symantec Client Security
  • Timbuktu Pro

These site licenses are maintained by ITS on behalf of the college, and are available at no additional charge.

Members of the WCMC community with an active CWID can download site licensed software from the ITS Downloads page.

Site Licenses Provided To Cornell Community

Faculty, staff, and students in all Cornell locations and formal affiliations — Ithaca, Geneva, New York City, Washington, Arecibo, Qatar, and more — may take advantage of the software license agreements provided through the CU Software Licensing group. These agreements provide volume licensing agreements for numerous software titles, including:

  • Adobe Creative Suite products, including Photoshop, Acrobat Pro, and Contribute
  • FileMaker
  • Gene Construction Set
  • LabView
  • Lasergene
  • MacClade
  • JMP
  • Minitab
  • SAS
  • SPSS
  • SPlus

Many of the site license agreements provided by CIT require a nominal fee to be paid per license. Some require a purchase to be made through the Cornell Store. More information is available on the CU Software Licensing Services website.
