Upgrading Citrix Client

To upgrade to the latest Citrix client for EpicCare access, please refer to the following steps.

Note: If you do not see 'Run Adverstised Programs," then the SCCM client is not installed on your machine. Contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance. This upgrade will require a reboot of your machine to take effect.

  1. Click on your "Start" button. Select "Settings" followed by "Control Panel."
  2. Double click on "Run Advertised Programs" icon.
  3. Select Citrix XenApp for Host Applications ...
  4. Click on the "Download" button.
  5. The download will begin. This make take 5 to 30 minutes depending on network traffic and server utilization.
  6. Click on the "Next >" button.
  7. Select the "I accept the terms of the License Agreement" radio button, and click on the "Install" button.
  8. Click on the "Finish" button, toreboot your machine. Remember to save your work, e.g., save and close all of your open documents.
  9. Once rebooted, launch Epic from the desktop shortcut.
  10. Log onto the Epic.
