We knit because we care

Do you like to knit? Are you interested in learning to knit?

If so, join GSEC's

"WE KNIT BECAUSE WE CARE" CAMPAIGN

This year GSEC will be participating in a initiative to provide hand-knit hats and blankets to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital. The unit is in dire need to provide the hospital's littlest patients, who are often premature, with hats and blankets to keep them warm while they grow strong and healthy enough to go home.

GSEC has pledged 500 hats and blankets to the NICU, and we'd appreciate your help in reaching our goal!

Our introductory meeting will be held within the next two weeks. We plan on having organized gatherings for participating knitters, but we also encourage all who are interested to knit on their own as well.

Whether you are an expert knitter or would like to learn, all are welcome. Tutorials as well as instructions on how to knit the tiny hats and blankets will be provided.
