  • Tree-cycle for NYC: Jan 8-9
  • If you enjoyed a fresh cut evergreen tree this holiday season, give back and Chip In.   New York City Department of Parks & Recreation is hosting their annual MulchFest this weekend on January 8-9.  Click the link to find a location near you.   Bring your tree and it will be recycled into wood chips.

In some locations you can bring your own bag and reclaim the wood chips, otherwise the chips are used to protect city trees by providing a winter bed.

You can even volunteer.  Check it out.
