Dr Mangat Teaches at Weill Bugando in Tanzania
Dr. Halinder Mangat, attending Physician in Neurocritical Care and Assistant Professor of Neurology, Neuroscience and Neurosurgery, recently visited Weill Bugando to conduct training in neurology for Bugando’s medical residents. After rounding on the ICU wards every morning, Dr. Mangat spent every afternoon teaching interactive lectures and taking the residents to the wards to discuss practical management of neurologic diseases in resource limited settings.
Dr. Mangat’s lectures and training received rave reviews. His connection with the residents made his teaching particularly effective and his trip a wonderful success.
