GHESKIO, Cholera Vaccination Discussed on NPR
National Public Radio (NPR) recently highlighted GHESKIO's cholera vaccination campaign in Port-au-Prince. Together with health organization, Partners in Health, GHESKIO is working to vaccinate 100,000 people at risk for cholera. It is hoped that this campaign will demonstrate the feasibility to scale up the vaccination program throughout Haiti. Dr. Vanessa Rouzier, a pediatrician at GHESKIO, discusses the urgency to vaccinate before the rainy season hits Haiti. Read the full NPR article here.
