The mission of the Genitourinary Oncology Program is to provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary approach to the management of genitourinary malignancies. Dedicated to groundbreaking Urologic oncology research, our centers have made remarkable developments in understanding and management of prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers.
The Department of Urology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center is renowned for their national and international excellence in patient care, research and education. The 2008 U.S. News & World Report Survey ranked the Department # 8 in the country, the highest ranking for any Urology Department in New York City. In addition, NewYork-Presbyterian is the #1 Hospital in New York, ranked #6 in the nation. The Department at Weill Cornell continues to excel, having expanded from 8 to 17 full time faculty members in Urology, including world leaders in all subspecialties of Urology.
