The Event Services Office (ESO) was formed in 2007 as an initiative to provide consolidated, top-tier event services to the Weill Cornell Medical College community. Pooling the expertise of Audio-Visual Services, ITS, Griffis Faculty Club, and Facilities & Maintenance, the ESO is the one stop shop for planning and holding events in centrally-provided spaces within the College.
Event Planning & Scheduling
Utilizing a specially developed scheduling system, the ESO will work with you to find a conference or meeting space that meets your capacity and timing needs. We will also schedule all necessary pre-testing and coordinate with external participants.
Coordination of Services
Based on your initial requirements, the ESO will provide all necessary follow-ups for your event, including scheduling of catering services and any additional furniture setup.
Equipment Usage And Rentals
The ESO maintains each central college meeting space with state-of-the-art audio-visual technologies and equipment.
Some of our equipment is also available for rental for use in other spaces within the college as needed. Please visit the Services Request page for more information.
On-Site Staffing
Our friendly, professional technicians and staff will be on-hand to assist with your event from start to finish.
AV Equipment Procurement
For departments or divisions looking to purchase stand-alone equipment, such as projectors or desktop video conferencing systems, the ESO provides recommendations for models and helps expedite the order via ITS' Technology Sales Group.
Other Professional Services
