Certificate of Fitness (C-14)
In New York City, whenever a laboratory is in operation, a C-14 holder must be present. This is a Fire Department of New York requirement. Certificate of Fitness C-14 for Laboratory Workers
Advanced degree OR undergraduate degree plus 2 years of work experience (work experience must be post undergraduate degree). This section provides information about the certification process for persons with the above-listed degrees and experience. Instructions, forms, study materials and a sample test are included.
