Dr. Richard Silver Honored with Establishment of Endowed Professorship
At a luncheon held on April 2, the Medical College honored Dr. Richard Silver, professor of medicine, upon the establishment of the Richard T. Silver Distinguished Professorship in Medical Oncology. In attendance were Dr. Silver and his wife, Barbara; members of the Silver family; Dr. Antonio Gotto, dean of the Medical College, and Anita Gotto; Harold Tanner, chairman of Cornell University's Board of Trustees; Sanford Ehrenkranz, a member of Weill Cornell's Board of Overseers; Stephen Weiss, trustee chairman emeritus at Cornell; and Weill Cornell faculty.
