The mission of The Juilliard School is to provide the highest caliber of artistic education for gifted musicians, dancers, and actors from around the world, so that they may achieve their fullest potential as artists, leaders, and global citizens.

Juilliard has developed an extensive network of services to promote the health and well-being of its students and to nurture their artistic, intellectual, and personal growth. While they study and live in New York City, Juilliard Health and Counseling Services provide free primary health care and psychological services to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students at the School, with an emphasis on teaching illness and injury prevention and health promotion.

And through a special partnership with The Center for the Performing Artist, Juilliard's students have access to New York's finest physicians at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center for any specialist care they may require. Our doctors, who are attuned to the unique needs and problems of these performing artists, are recognized specialists in every field of medicine.

We look forward to our role in keeping these students healthy and performing at their best.
