Facility Description

The 3.0 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy Facility supports state-of-the-art techniques for imaging human subjects including functional brain imaging, white matter tractography, perfusion imaging, whole-body scanning, and proton spectroscopic imaging. In addition, facilities are available to support pre-clinical imaging. The Applications Development Laboratory supports imaging projects with pulse program development and imaging processing tools tailored to investigators needs. The scanner is equipped with a 55 cm bore size, 50 mT/m gradient amplitude and 150 T/m/s slew rate.
