Discoveries that Make a Difference, launched October 26, 2006, will raise an unprecedented $1.3 billion in private philanthropy to support groundbreaking initiatives in biomedical research, medical education, and patient care. On June 13, 2007, after only eight months, Weill Cornell celebrated a major milestone, announcing that we were halfway to our goal.
