Welcome Weill Cornell Medical College Alumni!

Alumni Association Launches Stethoscope Fund for Medical Students
On August 25, 2009 Weill Cornell alumni and friends helped to kick-off the 2009-2010 academic year with a special "welcome" gift for the members of the Class of 2013. In addition to receiving lab coats at the White Coat Ceremony, this year, first year medical students also received 3M Littmann Cardiology III stethoscopes.

In a letter addressed to the WCMC Alumni Association (WCMCAA), Sasha Druskin, Class of 2013, writes:

"Thank you so much for your gift of a stethoscope. I am delighted to be a part of the Cornell community, and look forward to meeting and getting to know you over the next four years."

Through a generous $50,000 grant from The Buster Foundation in honor of Dr. Paul F. Miskovitz, M.D. '75, the Stethoscope Fund has become a key portal for connecting Weill Cornell students to the alumni and friends community. The Alumni Association Board of Directors gratefully acknowledges the 2009 stethoscope sponsors:

Alumni, parents and friends are invited to help maintain the Paul F. Miskovitz, M.D. '75 Stethoscope Fund for Medical Students by making a gift. Additional contributions will help ensure that future medical students, from their very first days on campus, also will receive this unique Weill Cornell alumni and friends welcome.
